Larbert East is part of the Church of Scotland and is one of the four Church of Scotland churches serving the villages of Larbert and Stenhousemuir. Although named Larbert East Church, the church actually lies in the heart of Stenhousemuir the larger of the two villages. However like the High School and Postal District it takes its name from Larbert. These villages lie in the heart of central Scotland, half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Our minister is Rev Melville Crosthwaite. He has served at Larbert East since 1995, after leaving his former charge of Carstairs linked with Carstairs Junction. For the past 6 years we have also had the assistance of an auxilliary minister Rev Lorna MacDougall. Lorna originally came to us during her training and we were pleased to welcome her back when she was ordained. Her tenure now over, Lorna has left to assist in the ministry of Zetland Parish Church, Grangemouth.
On October 25th 2009, we are pleased to welcome John Orr, a Ministry student who is serving his final placement with us. We look forward to sharing in worship with John for the next 8 months.
