| Summer Club Over the summer 3 - 12 year olds are invited to our Veggie Club where will be learning about the Bible from Larry and Bob with the Veggietale DVDs. Our goal is to have 20 singing cucumbers on Sunday 24th August. Peru Alex Duncan has just returned from leading a work party in Peru. He has renewed his friendship with some of the Street Boys he met on previous trips. Ask to see his photos when he's at the Traidcraft Stall. Hannah Crosthwaite is presently sailing up the Amazon on one of the medical ships. Keep up to date with her e-mails on the World Mission noticeboard. Coffee Morning Dates: Saturday 27th September 10am - 12 noon Saturday 25th October 10am - 12 noon Pastoral Care The Pastoral Care Team would like to know of anyone in hospital, ill at home, or in need of a visit from an elder or the minister. Please fill in a white card, located at the front of the church and in the pews, and hand it to one of the Welcome Team. We, as a church, are giving a bunch of flowers to a non-member every Sunday this year as part of the CCC project. If you know of anyone who would appreciate a bunch of flowers, and you can deliver them, please see Duncan or Margaret Walker at the end of the service or give them a call on 556200. |
