Larbert East Church

Prayer Group

As a church we are committed to praying for one another and for our community.  It helps us to grow closer to God and to be encouraged. He does care and answers our prayers, though not always in expected ways!

We meet once a fortnight for a short communal prayer session where we pray for groups and individuals that have requested support. You would be very welcome to join us – click the “Church news” tab to find out times and details.

In addition we circulate prayer requests to groups of individuals who add these requests to their own daily prayers. Be assured that all prayer requests are dealt with confidentially.

If you would like us to pray for you, or someone you know please click on the “contact us” tab above and select “request for prayer” in the subject list.  Please give a little information so that members of the prayer teams can empathise with the prayer as they pray for you over the next couple of months.

For example: “Please pray for my (friend, neighbour, John, Jimmy or Jean) who is having (health, family or other) problems.”

Alternatively place a request on the prayer cross in the church (see picture).
If you prefer, you do not need give the person’s name. Your name and email address will only be used to contact you by the prayer group co-ordinator.

Discussion Groups

We have 2 discussion groups meeting fortnightly -
one on Wednesday afternoons and one on Thursday evenings.

We also have a monthly Monday evening group.

The present topic for all of these is: 'The Challenges of Life Together'

We have a cuppa then a discussion. It's very relaxed and friendly. Come along - you'll be made very welcome.

Find the details of times and places on the Church news page.....and if you can't find information about it there, it means they are on the following week so check back then!
