Larbert East Church

Youth Group

The Youth Group of Larbert East serves all those of high school age (S1-S6). The group meets in the Upper Room before the service from 10:15am and attends the first half of the service before leaving to enjoy time together in fellowship, discipleship and teaching - this tends to finish at 11:45am at the latest. Throughout the week, we are all connected via our WhatsApp chat, in order to keep each other encouraged outside of a Sunday morning.

Events

The first Sunday of every month (where that Sunday is not a 'special' church service such as a Baptism, Communion or a Family Service) is Subway Sunday! As normal, the youth attend the first part of the service and then all go together to the Subway in Stenhousemuir shopping precinct. This time is the best time to get to know one another, share stories and generally have a relaxed time with others in Christ.

This year from the 10th - 12th of August, the LEC Youth will be travelling to Bradford for Rocknations 2017! This was a brilliant experience for those who went in 2016, who returned enthused, revitalised and stronger in faith. For further information, please contact Alex Grant, or have a look at the event website.

Leadership

The group is led by Alex Grant, who is also the Youth Group's Elder within the church. For info, questions or pastoral issues, please contact Alex at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

If Campaign

We all use Scripture Union resources to learn about Jesus and the Bible.

We do crafts, games and discussions - songs, drama and prayers.

We are saving up our offerings in a potty just now to support Toilet Twinning.

We provide a friendly, caring environment for infants and toddlers where your little ones can learn through play. Drop off in the session room from 10:15am and collect them back after the service. If your little one needs your special hug then we'll discreetly fetch you from the church without drawing unnecessary attention.
