1. POPPY SCOTLAND: There will be a retiring offering at the close of today’s service in aid of Poppy Scotland. Thank you for your support.
2. CROSSREACH CALENDARS: Orders for the Church of Scotland Crossreach calendar for 2023 can be made at the table in the hall after this morning’s service. Cost £5. Previous orders for calendars can be paid for and also collected from the table in the hall after the Service.
3. CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL: A “Big Thank You” for the wonderful support given to the Christmas Shoebox Appeal for both Samaritan’s Purse (Operation Christmas Child) (69 boxes) and Blythswood Care (47 boxes) this year. 
4. A TRAY FOR CHRISTMAS DAY: Our community is struggling!  We have people in our local community who will not have anything to eat on Christmas day – can you help us to change this?  We are seeking monetary donations, which should be placed in an envelope and given to Jean Wilson by Saturday 26th November. Any surplus contributions will be donated to Church funds. Thank you again for your support. 5. PASTORAL MATTERS: Appointments can be made for Pastoral visits to Meet with Philip, John and Marianne, telephone numbers on back page. If you need to speak with us, please do not hesitate to phone or email or use the contact us form
6.COVID: In a further change to our risk assessment, all pews have been reopened. Please continue to respect others who may wish to retain some 'social distance' and feel free to wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable.

11. EASTWORDS can be collected by Elders and Pastoral visitors from the Session Room at the close of the service, next Sunday 20th November.
12. BANNER GROUP next meets 21st November at 2.00pm in the Small Hall.
13. WOMEN’S GROUP meets on 22nd November at 7.00pm and the speaker will be our Parish Outreach Worker, Marianne Harvey.
14. A CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING will be held in the Church Halls on Saturday 26th November, 10.00a.m. – 1.00p.m. with a variety of stalls including Cake & Candy, Cards, Bottles, Plants and Christmas Novelties. Donations can be handed in to the Church Hall on Friday 25th from 6.00p.m. ALL HOME BAKING must be pre-wrapped before handing in for sale. Non wrapped baking cannot be accepted.  We would also be grateful for donations of Mince Pies, Chocolate Logs and Shortbread. Tickets, priced £3, are available in the Large Hall after the service.


15.AIRTH CHURCH is having a Christmas Fayre on Friday 2nd December at around 6.30pm. This follows on from the Switch-on of the Christmas Lights in Airth at 6.00pm, which is organised by the Community Council. Tea/coffee and mince pies will be served and there will be stalls of various kinds including a cake and candy stall.


Next Sunday we look forward to welcoming Rev John Gow (former student at Larbert East) and now minister at Portsoy Church of Scotland to lead our service.   The Young Church meet in the Hall from 10.15am before the service.  Contact Young Church leader Senga for details.  The Youth Group meet in the Upper Room, also from 10.15am.  Tea/coffee is in the Large Hall at the close of the services.
