1. THE TRAIDCRAFT STALL will resume in the autumn.
2. FALKIRK FOODBANK needs UHT and dried milk, cartons of juice (not needing kept cool); tinned vegetables, meat, fish, fruit; biscuits & snacks. Boxes are in the Vestibule and at the door to the Hall.
3. DOING MORE WITH DONATIONS: Gift Aid envelopes are in the Vestibule/on pews. Visitors wishing us to reclaim tax can fill in details on the envelope. Buying online? Try easyfundraising.org.uk, click ‘how it works’; then Support a Good Cause. Larbert East Church is registered.

4. 3rd LARBERT BOYS’ BRIGADE is due to start back next week. All sections meet in the Church Hall.
The Anchor Section (primary 1-3) starts back this Friday 25th August 6pm-7pm.
The Junior Section (primary 4-6) starts back on Monday 28th August 6pm-7.30pm.
The Company Section (primary 7-upwards) also on Monday 28th August 6pm-7.30pm.

5. THE YOUNG CHURCH LEADERS meet along with Melville this Thursday 24th August at 7.30pm at Senga Smith’s (24 Hunter Place, Carron).

7. THE CHURCH ‘HOTDOG BBQ’ will be held next Sunday 27th August, after the service in the church grounds. This is instead of our outing and we are inviting everyone in the Congregation to join us. There will be ‘a bag' for the Young Church and tea & coffee for the adults. There is no charge. Please do stay for a while to chat with friends over the BBQ.
8. MEMORIES GROUP: The next meeting will be held in the LARGE HALL on Wednesday 20th September at 2pm. More details will be given nearer the time
9. KELPIES CANTER: A date for your diaries! This event will be held on Saturday 30th September, start time 10am. For more information see the poster in the Large Hall or speak to Fiona Jardine.

9. PARISH OUTREACH WORKER: Now the closing date for applications for this new post has passed, please pray for the Planning Group as they begin the leeting process. We will let you know what happens as things progress.

NEXT SUNDAY’S SERVICE:

Next Sunday the Morning Service at 10.30am will be led by elders Simon Hessett, Darren Jalland and Alex Grant. There will also be another ‘Spotlight on…’ when Pastoral Assistant John Brown will speak on Workplace Chaplaincy.

Next Sunday the Young Church resumes. The Sparklers meet in the Small Hall, CATS in the Large Hall and the Youth Group in the Upper Room before the service. The Crèche meets in the Creche Room.

There will be tea/coffee and biscuits in the Hall after the service. Please join us next Sunday.
