1. HELP NEEDED! We need more people for Sunday morning Creche duty. You’d only be on duty 3 times/year but must be PVG registered. Please contact Joanne Aikman. We also need more ‘shopkeepers’ for the Traidcraft Stall on Sunday mornings. If you can help, please see Liz Nailen.
2. FALKIRK FOODBANK: Tinned tomatoes and Potatoes, Custard, Rice, Puddings, Milk, Tea-bags and Fruit juice will be greatly appreciated. Boxes are in the Vestibule and door to the hall. We deliver it for you.


3. EASTGATE continues this Tuesday 18th February 9.30-11.30am in the Small Hall with POW Marianne. All welcome.
4. WOMEN’S GROUP meets this Tuesday 18th February at 7.30pm in the Large Hall. The topic will be ‘The Free to Live Trust’. All ladies welcome.
5. LUNCH IN THE EAST – the monthly free lunch of soup, bread and home baking in a safe venue for S1 and S2 pupils from Larbert High continues this Wednesday 19th February in the Church Hall from 1.10-1.40pm. Please tell your children!

11. ENQUIRERS’ GROUP: The first meeting of this year’s Enquirers’’ Group, for those thinking about becoming full members of the Church, is next Sunday 23rd February at 2.30pm in the Small Hall. A number of people have already committed to coming, but there’s plenty of room for more. Please speak to Melville for details.

13. JOINT LENT DISCUSSION GROUPS: In a spirit of working together, Larbert East and Larbert West Churches will be holding joint Discussion Groups during Lent, every Thursday evening at 7.30pm for 6 weeks, from Thursday 27th February. The groups will alternate between the 2 churches, and will be based on the ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus. The Wednesday Afternoon Discussion Group will use the same material but meet fortnightly. Further details next week.


Next Sunday the Morning Service at 10.30am will be led by Melville and Marianne, when we conclude the theme ‘aWhen Faith Fails’ – looking at ‘The Way Ahead’. The Young Church meets as usual (see Regular Notices to the right of this page).  The Creche will meet as usual in the Creche Room. There will be tea/coffee and biscuits, and the Traidcraft Stall, in the Hall after the service.

Next Sunday evening, the monthly meeting of eLECt will take place. There will a light meal served from 5.45pm, concluding with a short informal Communion led by Melville at 6.15pm, before family friendly worship in the Church at 6.30pm. Melville is the guest speaker. Then around 7.20pm there will be time to chat over tea/coffee. All welcome.
