TODAY’S NOTICES

1. PASTORAL MATTERS: Due to the ongoing corona virus crisis, the Ministry Team (Melville, John and Marianne) have been advised by Church authorities that pastoral visits must be conducted over the phone or online. So, if you need to speak to any of us, please don’t hesitate to phone.
2. PRAYER LINK: The Moderator of the General Assembly of the C of S has written a prayer for the present corona virus crisis. You can find it on this link:

3. FAIRTRADE EASTER EGGS: All deliveries have been completed. Polmont YOI have also received their eggs. The prison is closed to visitors just now but the Family Support Unit said: ‘Please thank the church for their kindness, it is very much appreciated and the eggs will be enjoyed by children coming to the prison at some point!’
4. MEMORIES GROUP will be suspended until further notice. This instruction has come from Memories Scotland.

5. FALKIRK FOODBANK: Unfortunately, due to the stricter regulations, we can no longer collect donations for the Foodbank. Thank you for your donations.

6. FLOWER CALENDAR, FLOWER ARRANGING, FLOWER DELIVERY ROTA: All suspended until public worship services resume.
7. CHRISTIAN AID – In line with other events and gatherings the Forth Road Bridge Cross challenge has been cancelled this year along with other related activities in Christian Aid week, i.e. the Big Brekkie and the annual Coffee Morning. We’ll try to keep you informed of alternative ways to support the important work of Christian Aid, given the congregation’s wonderful support to Christian Aid over many years, thank you.


NEXT SUNDAY’S ONLINE SERVICE – PALM SUNDAY LENT 6:

Next Sunday the Online Service at 10.30am will be led by Melville. We conclude the Lent theme: the ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus.

The Young Church and Creche, tea/coffee and Traidcraft Stall are all suspended until public worship can resume again.
